Dear Parents and Guardians,
HAPPY NEW (School) YEAR!! The JFK PTA would like to welcome you all back for the new session and is hoping for your support in our initiatives for the coming year.
One of our goals is to support and enhance our children's lives at JFK. We provide volunteer support and funds to facilitate experiences and/or equipment not covered by our school budget. We are only able to do this with the cooperation of our parent community.

§ NYSMMA Medals
§ Robotics Program Supplies

§ Teacher Holiday Gifts
§ Yearbooks
§ 4th Grade Student Video Conferencing
§ 5th Grade Graduation and Party
§ 5th Grade Tile Project
PTA funding is generated from generous contributions from JFK families and proceeds from events which include:
§ BINGO Nights
§ Book Fair
§ Box Top
§ Family Fitness Night
§ Father’s Day Boutique
§ Mets Events
§ Movie Night
§ Photo Day
§ Picnic
§ Plant Sale
§ Read-a-Thon
§ School Supply Sale
§ Spiritwear & Merchandise Sale
As always, we also provide parents the opportunity to stay connected to the school via our PTA Meetings. You will have the opportunity to meet the Principal, Ron Gimondo, and Assistant Principal, Michelle Bell at all of our meetings. Your participation in PTA meetings is essential to the success of your community.
As a not-for-profit, our parents volunteering their time at PTA events and donating funds to the PTA via dues and fundraisers are what allow us to operate successfully. The bulk of our funds are raised via PTA dues. For our kids, our school and our community, please remember to pay your dues of at least $30.
Each $30 dues payment will get you a FREE JFK Gift AND a Raffle Ticket!!
You can pay by cash or check at the school during the open house OR you can pay by using PayPal at any time with the following link:

Just print out your receipt and bring it to the open house to get your JFK water bottle & raffle ticket.
